Tax-Related Identity Theft

Tax-related identity theft Tax-related identity theft occurs when someone steals your Social Security number (SSN) to file a tax return and claim a fraudulent refund. You may be unaware that this has happened until you file your return and discover that a return already has been filed using your SSN, or the IRS may send you a Letter saying they have identified a suspicious return using your SSN.

Fun Facts About Christmas

Fun Facts About Christmas Every year, during Christmas time, we hear the same traditional songs and practice the same traditions. Being a history buff, I love learning about how all of these came about. Here are just a few of them:
  • The Song White Christmas is the biggest selling Christmas single of all-time.
  • The Christmas season begins at sundown on 24th December and lasts through sundown on the 5th January. For that reason, this season is also known as the Twelve Days of Christmas.

It's Time to End Chain Migration

Chain Migration is resulting in Terror Attacks It is time that Congress steps up to the plate to put an end to the lax immigration procedures that allow terrorists entry into the U.S. under the guise of family relationships. What I'm referring to is the provision of the American immigration program known as "chain migration." A result of this policy can be seen in the most recent act of radical Islamic terror perpetrated earlier this week in New York City. The terrorist was an immigrant who entered the U.S. under this provision. The 27-year-old man, Akayed Ullah, a Bangledeshi immigrant who came into the country in 2011, was arrested after allegedly detonating a pipe bomb in the underground pedestrian tunnel of one of the busiest subway stations in New York City during rush hour.

May You Always Believe in Santa Claus

My First Christmas with Grandma I remember my first Christmas adventure with Grandma. I was just a kid.

I remember tearing across town on my bike to visit her on the day my big sister dropped the bomb: "There is no Santa Claus," she jeered. "Even dummies know that!"

My Grandma was not the gushy kind, never had been. I fled to her that day because I knew she would be straight with me. I knew Grandma always told the truth, and I knew that the truth always went down a whole lot easier when swallowed with one of her "world-famous" cinnamon buns. I knew they were world-famous, because Grandma said so It had to be true.
